Influenced by the vision of a shared world culture, The Blue Dot connects the dots between traditions from different corners of the planet, using art, sound and movement as a guiding compass. The show on May 26th will celebrate music and dance traditions of Turkey, featuring our guest percussionist Mehmet Akyazi. We will also explore songs from the Middle East, Greece, Bulgaria and Iran.
Join the Blue Dot Band for a night of world music and dance on our first show in Toronto. We'll take you on a journey exploring Persian Classical songs, Turkish Roma dances, Arabic Bellydance and Folklore tunes from Greece and Brazil.
